What’s the latest for Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Internet usage on mobile devices is growing at the rate that it is making this year, “the year of mobile”. The number of devices during the next decade will be able to access what the Internet has to offer, and all of them will need to be able to search and retrieve websites that people are searching for.  This is where SE needs to consider how their interfaces will work on any number of new devices.

Google has a separate index for mobile devices. The question is “How will they continue to know what are the most important results for natural search? This is particularly important for SEO. As so much of what is done is to ensure that the connections on the Internet make it clear that the sites, or clients, are viewed by the search engines as important.

In SEO, people have become accustomed to viewing off-site optimization methods as having the most impact on rankings. There is an argument as to that statement, for each device one will need a site specifically optimized for each different version of Google.  Google for mobile, Google for smartphone, Google for tablets; each version might prefer different types of web property to display higher in the listings.

As of right now there is not a straight forward answer as to what changes mobile devices will do to SEO, however in the near future it is said that SEO will not only encompass social media, but SEO teams will need to ensure their skills include a large degree of developer knowledge specifically for ensuring websites are compatible with multiple devices.
